REAL SOCIEDAD FOTOGRÁFICA DE ZARAGOZA
The Royal Photographic Society of Zaragoza is a club with 93 years of existence that have organized continuously since 91 years ago the International Autumn Exhibition in Zaragoza.
It was Manuel Lorenzo Pardo, founding president of the Photographic Society Zaragoza, which encouraged to host the International Exhibition of Photography, whose first edition was held in 1925, and has been conducted annually to date, with the collaboration of different institutions: SIPA, Commercial Industrial and Agricultural Casino, Heraldo de Aragón, Trade Fair (Chamber of Commerce), the Government of Aragon and the city council of Zaragoza.
In recent editions have had the help of city council. This Salon, now also called "Autumn International Photography Salon" has become the oldest performed in Spanish territory and third in the world. And of course one of the longest established activities in Zaragoza.
This year it is integrated within the Iberian Circuit, which can be understood as a union of all these decades of photographic history that has evolved and transformed with the influence of fashions, tastes, styles and ways of making photography in every age in different countries.
